There are three possible approaches. The first is to have a Ribbon markup for each language. This approach is hard to maintain since you have to edit all of the files for each change in the Ribbon markup. The second approach is to use the resulting resource (rc) file. The UICC.EXE Ribbon markup compiler extracts all strings from the markup files and put them in a standard Win32 Resource String Table in the resulting resource (rc) file. You can create a resource file for each language by making a copy of the generated resource file and edit the String Table. For automated process you need to have a script or tool that replaces the original string with the locale text. The last approach is not to have any text in the markup file and supply the text at runtime. The Ribbon framework calls your code and requests the missing properties, those properties that you did not supply in the markup file. You should reply with the corresponding text according to the current user locale.

An answer file is used to provide the common configuration settings for all computers that are affected during an unattended installation. A UDF provides the unique settings that each computer needs to distinguish it from other computers. RIS requires an Active Directory environment so that RIS clients can locate RIS servers.
